GSP Surrender

New Beginnings GSP Rescue accepts dogs from many situations. Shelter and stray dogs are our highest priority. Our availability to help a dog is based on foster home availability, location of the dog, and temperament evaluation results. Accepted dogs may require a delay until foster care is available. We are an all volunteer organization and we do the best we can with limited resources. Our approved adoptive families have been phone screened, vet referenced, and have had home checks performed.

You can be assured that once we accept your dog into our rescue, we will always be here for the dog. Any dog adopted out by us is bound by contract to be returned to New Beginnings GSP Rescue if the new owner can no longer keep him or her at any time in the future OR is not living up to their obligations agreed to in the contract at the time of adoption.

Dog's Personality

New Beginnings German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is an all volunteer group whose purpose is to find permanent loving families for dogs that, through no fault of their own, find themselves without homes. Many of us have had countless years of loving and caring for our own Shorthairs.
